The Concordia Foundation was founded by international singer and broadcaster Gillian Humphreys OBE. She founded Concordia out of her real concern for building bridges of friendship and excellence through music and the arts. In 2013, the foundation donated fifes and funds, to support the music program in St. Johns Primary School, Korogocho. We acquired teaching books and instrument accessories as well as making payments to tutors with the funds. The fife program has so far been successful, providing a good foundation for learners who have later joined the Ghetto Classics program.
